Activities are not lacking as this region is so rich in landscape and history.
The medieval village of Tourrettes sur Loup
Tourrettes-sur-Loup is one of the most beautiful villages of the Alpes-Maritimes. It is accessible on foot from the Mas des Cigales. It will take about half an hour to get there.
Two routes are possible:
-The first by taking the Queinières road which will take you to the village center
-The second via the Camassade promenade path along the old railway track. Going back up the Queinières road, at the stop, turn right, then cross the Grasse road and follow the marked path.
Stroll through the narrow streets of the old village and enjoy the magnificent view of the hills and the coast. The cliffside houses were built to form a rampart around the castle, which has become the village town hall. Tourrettes-sur-Loup is the town of the violet. There are still greenhouses for cultivating this flower, which is used in the making of perfumes. The village has many art galleries and local craft shops. You can also visit the Violet Bastide, which houses a museum.

The cities of the coast
The main coastal city, which on its own brings together the most important points of interest, is of course the city of Nice.
Nestled between the sea and the mountains on the famous French Riviera, Nice captivates with its sunny climate, Mediterranean atmosphere, and rich heritage. As the capital of the Alpes-Maritimes, the city is renowned for its legendary Promenade des Anglais, its pebble beaches, and its turquoise waters.
The historic heart, Old Nice, charms with its narrow streets, colorful façades, and its famous Cours Saleya market. Located between Nice and Cannes, Antibes is a charming town on the French Riviera that captivates with its authenticity and idyllic setting between the sea and historic ramparts. Old Antibes invites leisurely strolls, while Cap d’Antibes reveals superb coves and seaside trails. Rich in artistic heritage, the town also houses the Picasso Museum, located in the Grimaldi Castle. Between culture, nature, and Mediterranean tranquility, Antibes offers an elegant and relaxing stop.
Located on the Italian border, between sea and mountains, Menton is a gem of the French Riviera renowned for its mild and sunny climate all year round. Nicknamed the “lemon city,” it enchants with its lush gardens, colorful facades, and peaceful atmosphere, more intimate than its neighboring towns.
Its historic center, dominated by the Saint Michael Basilica, offers a maze of picturesque streets leading to superb viewpoints over the Mediterranean. Famous for the Lemon Festival, a unique event of its kind, Menton combines tradition, elegance, and a gentle way of life, making it an ideal destination for an authentic and sunny getaway.
Located on the famous French Riviera, Cannes is an iconic destination combining elegance, glamour, and Mediterranean charm. World-renowned for the Cannes Film Festival, the city attracts the biggest movie stars every year.
The famous Croisette, lined with palm trees and prestigious hotels, runs along beautiful fine sandy beaches. The historic district of Le Suquet reveals a more authentic charm with its picturesque streets and panoramic views. Just a few minutes by boat, the Lérins Islands offer a preserved natural setting, ideal for a quiet getaway. Cannes thus captivates with its subtle mix of prestige, culture, and relaxation.
